Saturday, December 8, 2018 - Garnet with well-defined rim variation, medium legs. Aroma is predominantly red fruit; strawberry, cranberry, raspberry. There are hints of dust, light toast, cedar, and oak. On the palate, cinnamon, eucalyptus and mint are faint but discernable while the red fruit continues. Body is light/medium; an interesting texture that is both polished and linear. Medium finish, and medium-plus acidity. Impression: balanced, complex, varietally correct. Compelling. Lasted well over 4+ days. At $28 with tax and shipping, QPR is below average. We have had several wines from Kokomo. While not inexpensive, also consistently good. Worth a splurge to me. Drink now. I think it's at peak.
