Wednesday, December 26, 2018 - Lunch at Summer Pavilion (Summer Pavilion, Ritz Carlton, Singapore): Good, but still needs time to fill up. The nose had a nice melange of white fruit, chalk and slatey minerality along with rounder, more buttery Meursault notes. The palate was still really tight though, with linear 2008 acidity and a real streak of minerality underlining crunchy flavours of green apples with a hint of nectarines at the side. Lovely cut and freshness, a good ripe depth too, but this needs a bit of time yet.
