Thursday, December 27, 2018 - Much more in line with my 2010 note forecasting a 15-year horizon than my note from July suggesting it was hurry-up-and-drink time. This bottle was youthful and bright in appearance, had freshness and purity on the nose and in the mouth but also lots of mature tertiary notes as well. If this bottle is an indicator rather than my previous one, this will drink well for another four or five years, but it seems like it’s at peak.

Blackberry, red and black currant, leather, minty herbs, some cedar wood and smoky notes. It’s really wonderful.
