actually not that Champagne-like, and remind me more of some Loire Chenin based sparkling wine. Substantial and vinous but nimble, even if acidity is not particularly high. Very mature but not the yeasty monster I suspected from the crazy 10 years sur lie aging. Minerality does seem to come through in an impactful almost mouth-drying way, but ultimately fruit takes center stage. It could be me romanticizing the idea of a top of the line Cava (the lavish packaging didn't help), but I'm left hoping for something more special and convincing. 91-92+
