Friday, February 8, 2019 - Finely aged and in a sweet spot now. Still a dark ruby color. In the nose a pronounced leather note. In the mouth the wine is quite full and smooth with a nice melange of red and dark fruits, leather and herbs. As with most Madirans this feels like an old-school-wine. Rustic, structured and age-worthy.
