Saturday, February 9, 2019 - This is a powerful balanced wine that can stand alone or pair with foods. A few at the party did not care for it because of this boldness (?), not because of any flaws. So if you like the big boy wines, this is one of them. And it does not carry that cow barn aroma or taste. A wonderful Brunello this is at almost 15 years old. I’m sure it’s not done aging. It was opened about 16 hours prior to tasting and decanted the last 4 hours . Yum!
