Saturday, February 16, 2019 - 20 minute decant. Dark garnet and not showing any age. This is a big full bodied concentrated bordeaux blend with lots of flavor. The nose is exuberant with aromas of blackberries and cedar. The palate shows cassis, blackberries, tobacco and vanilla. While there is a lot to like hear the oak treatment and alcohol content is significant and noticeable so I found this a little out of balance and fat which holds back my rating.
