Sunday, July 20, 2008 - At first I thought this wine was going to be OK. At first there was a nice deep rich typical Aussie style shiraz. Then I noticed a very green fresh cut wood component. At first I could get it down.. and I really wanted this to be good. Then it became astringent. There were no varnish bubbles but slight VA. After looking at past scores for this wine and many of this genre, I feel that they don't age well at all. I really liked them in the beginning, but shutter with every cork I pull today. They are very unstable.
