Decanted for 30 mins first then poured - from the get-go, an expressive, rich nose with earth/loam, raspberry and maybe cedar. On the palate, great red fruits (raspberry, cherry, etc) with more chocolate and earth, very bright acidity that lingers into the long finish. Tannins there but not objectionable; in fact, I wouldn't want less tannin - great balance.
