Friday, April 5, 2019 - Decanted 3 hrs. This easily cracks the Carlisle Top 5 young wine barrier, and with room to spare. Sure you have some of those sturdy and slightly rugged PS tannins floating around, but this is accessible and drinking so well already. The dark berry fruit is already suggestioning layers of complexity, not there yet, but it seems this flower will bloom sooner rather than later. Some well judged oak (as always) - snappy finish. Check, check and check.
