Friday, April 5, 2019 - Drank over two nights. The peak may have been somewhere in between. Night one: A bit of a muted nose--funky red cherry. Red and black cherry, plum on the palate. Fruit is light, elegant with a bit too much tannin/oak. Night two sees the nose go much more powerful, the palate pick up a bit of cranberry, spice, and the tannin integrates nicely. I say again: 2010 Brunello absolutely lives up to the hype. No rush to drink. Buy again.
