Saturday, April 20, 2019 - 2018 Quick Tasting at Domaine Jean Chartron (Puligny-Montrachet): A very different bouquet, the citrus more grapefruit than lemon, with peach and apricot and pineapple, passionfruit and other nuances of exotic fruit. Also, noticeably broader on palate than any of the other wines tasted. A wine calling for food. A similar fruit profile to the bouquet: mandarin, pineapple, apricot and passionfruit. Some chalky minerality. In a different style to the other wines tasted and my least preferred.
