On the nose you get the Grünhaus aroma Profil, but the herbal aspect is by far not as upfront, as I experienced it with other (cooler) vintages. You have more apricot, dried apricot, tangerin, black tea and a certain depth with more dark, earthy components. On the palate the wine needs a bit to fully develope. A very fine, lean (more like a Spätlese) and harmonic showing but not having the punch, vibrancy or the edge to be on the very top of my Grünhaus experiences. If you have some bottles left in you cellar I would drink them in the next 5 years.
