Sunday, May 5, 2019 - A blind taste-off between Aubert and Kistler, the Aubert was the clear winner tonight. Slightly hazy and pale yellow, there is still a lot of oak and strong buttery notes, with a nice mineral and acidic core. Yet, even at this young age, very well balanced. Decanted 4 hours prior to serving, I imagine this only has upside for the next 10+ years.
