Wednesday, May 15, 2019 - Medium garnet turning orange rust at the rim with a transparent edge. The nose is very floral and gives off orange peel, zesty fruits and incense. This medium-bodied wine is very, very young - showing tart, unripened cherry, pomegranate, cola, licorice, tobacco, leather, and mineral earthy notes. Finishes long with a eucalyptus minty, herbaceously tart feel that’s brought by its tannic backbone. Evolves in the glass, and quite frankly, undeserving of a final judgment. This longs for veal or grilled steak. Drink now with a 2-hr decant or from 2023 to 2038. 93+
