Wednesday, May 15, 2019 - Dark fruit and a whiff of something caramel-like on the nose, lots of stuffing for Spatburgunder in terms of body, but the tannins are rounded enough that they don't get in the way of enjoyment. More serious stuff than your average German pinot, debatable as to whether it is worth the rather hefty tarrif.
