Saturday, May 18, 2019 - This wine is big and needs a long decant. I drank half the bottle yesterday and the rest today. The wine was average yesterday and exceptional today. It is great with food. I paired it with a medium New York Strip, which was perfect. Licorice, mixed berry and fresh herbs on the palate. Excellent acidity, with a rich, full mouthfeel and lingering finish. This wine shows its pedigree and is exceptionally well made.
