Tuesday, May 21, 2019 - A Merlot dominant Bordeaux, albeit only just 51/47. Given its age, the fruits had developed well in the bottle by the time of drinking, and the nose was strong in expressive dark fruits, possibly plums. A lot smoother on the palate than I had expected, softer than the St Emilion I had last week. Well balanced, and may even be better in another year or two,
