Thursday, May 23, 2019 - Clear pale gold with strong effervescence. Nose has apples, herbs, and a savory quality. Bone dry, acidity is good though not like Champagne. The body is also quite light, as usual for cava. Delicate mousse, linear palate with a consistent savory quality. Assume MLF. Finish is nothing special but all in all, this is a great benchmark to the style of NV cava. For the price, this is one of my favorites. Was able to pick up a case at close out price ($9/btl). Maybe I should have bought two...
