Friday, May 24, 2019 - Staring to show a bit of mature color. In a really nice place coming out of Greenblanket’s ambient global warming northwest cellar. Beautiful red fruit, slightly mushroom-y soil, cedar, dusky florals. Tannins advance on the finish. If Greenblanket had another one he would drink it soon but he is in a new place in both actuarial and climate change considerations. (He’s getting old and his once cool ambient cellar is starting to take on The temperature change characteristics of a Kentucky rickhouse).
