Saturday, June 8, 2019 - Best Silvaner i ever had. I really like the earthiness of a Silvaner, but this wine embeds earthy characters into a glorious fruit, very subtle fruit sweetness and a nicely integrated acidity in the background. Perfect food wine - I nominate the wine for the best supporting role in a dinner! We had the wine with a pan fried branzino and zucchini sauce. Lovely match. Would also be the high end white asparagus wine.
