Thursday, June 13, 2019 - Salmon pink. Light perlage. Cider and red berry nose, slightly herbal. Pinot Noir is distinct on the palette, oak, slate and mushroom. With no Dosage, this is bone dry and very mineral. Age lends it quite a lasting, eucalyptus finish. This doesn’t quite come together in the way a fine Blanc de Noirs champ would, nor can that be expected for a bottle that costs less than a third of that price at retail. Good value and refreshing.
