Saturday, June 29, 2019 - Pale yellow, cloudy (unfiltered). Biodynamic pioneer Pepe produces a much celebrated Montepulciano d’Abruzzo and this Trebbiano. Nose is aromatic - mineral notes, yeast, citrus, cooking apple, some honey and aniseed. Palate shows a lot of complexity and depth - freshness of the limestone, citrus. Long finish.
