Monday, July 29, 2019 - The really evolved well. Give this an hour of air and it become a lovely champagne. Classic Bollinger oxidised notes makes you know immediately you are drinking a vintage wine that could pass for 25-30 years old. Big and heavy, but loads of complexity, especially honey and worked wonderfully well with aged gouda. I really enjoyed this, and preferred it to the 1990 and 1997 Grand Annee.

8/4/2019 8:19:00 PM - Greetings,
How do you compare the 2004 vintage to the 2005 if you have had it? The first bottle I tried from the 2005 had a sharp finish. Dave

8/4/2019 8:59:00 PM - Hello. I found the 2004 to be a step up in class and with a bit more balance. The 2005 may settle with time though, but the 2004 is in a nice spot
