Tuesday, July 30, 2019 - My first bottle of Las Beatas and will not be the last. Unlike any other Rioja I ever tasted. Bright, dark violet colour. Blackberry and raspberry fruit, herbal and mineral notes. Touch of oak noted but not distracting. Palate is silky, akin to aged Burgundy, balanced, structured and persistent. Not sure where the tannins are hiding. They must be really fine.
