Saturday, August 17, 2019 - Decanted at 4pm and tasted through 9pm. Translucent, bright medium garnet with little sign of age. Nose had tar, menthol and cherries. Palate was very soft and easy to drink both with and without food. Acidity was bright. Flavors included the tar, cherry and menthol along with a distinct eucalyptus on the finish which was moderately long. Delicious with grilled steaks.
