Friday, August 30, 2019 - Very beautiful. I'm pretty unfamiliar with Nebbiolo, so I can't compare it to much - very pure ripe cherry, almost maraschino, along with a minty note, on the nose. A sommelier friend tasting with me said he got a rubbery note; not sure if I detected it. Surprisingly strong reddish fruit on palate with a little decanting, but still VERY tannic and piercing. Really good especially for the bargain bin at LA wine house ($25!!) Going to try more Nebbiolo now...didn't blow my mind, but totally delicious and unique.
