Friday, September 27, 2019 - Had this in NYC at Four Horseman. When the bottle was opened initially I was very worried due to its intense oakiness but after about an hour of leaving it open most of it blew away and a more pure fruit profile came to the forefront to my relief. Having tasted this, the wine really achieves its reputation by creating a wine that feel more well made Pinot Noir from burgundy than classic cab franc from loire valley. There is such purity of fruit, precision, and zesty acid. Overall a very interesting experience but I find the prices of these wines to be out of reach for my personal purchasing.
