Monday, October 28, 2019 - This seems to have come along quite nicely over the past year. I forgot that I had this. The 2009 Valbuena shows a pretty ravishing nose - raspberry compote, lipstick, warm early, slightly rubbery. Gourmandise palate - so enticing. Lush fruit but a bit of cured meat and grippy tannin as well. A little clipped on the finish, however. 92-93.
