Sunday, November 3, 2019 - One-litre bottle. Medium-dry. Very pale straw in the glass. A whistful, delicately perfumed nose of pineapple drop, yellow peach, cantaloupe, jasmine oolong tea, elderflower, honeysuckle, key lime, and Pink Lady apple, all against a sweeping backdrop of wax bottle candies and white cheese. Certainly possesses the tell-tale Pfalz broad richness, the acidity fresh yet dialed down to a 7 as opposed to a 10. Very clean on the palate, with a little mango and apricot winking through the linden-scented waxy waves. Medium + finish of lime/tangerine peel and salt water taffy.
