Friday, September 12, 2008 - Simply amazing out of the bottle, this wine appears to be peaking with finely integrated tannins; massive, walloping fruit and tremendous weight and viscosity. This wine really heps to redefine California Syrah.

The complexity of the aging fruit has lost some spicy character and been replaced by dark brooding fruits and and earthy/licorice tones. The aromas waft out of the glass (used Reidel syrah glasses) and slam into you before the glass reaches your lips.

Just a tremendously fun wine to drink with oustanding finish, a very hedonistic experience.
