Friday, November 15, 2019 - Opened I the bottle 5 hours. This continues down the path of the previous 4-5 years with stylistically more restrained, interesting and less extracted wines. Enjoyable now but still incredibly/painfully primal. The meatiness and smoke of the Syrah really come through here with blue/black fruit emerging in the background. Lavender, iodine, river rocks and dried herbs also faintly begin to show. Needs 5 plus years plus.
