Sunday, November 17, 2019 - I was worried that this might be still too tannic to tame based on reviews, but with a 1.5 hour decant this came to life pretty quickly. The tannins were soft and supple, and beautiful red fruits dominated the palate. The nose is simply sublime. This may have years of life ahead, but I like where it is now with the tertiary components in the background and the fruit still vibrant and young. This wine confirms why Bordeaux is my favorite juice category. Don't be afraid to open one of these now.
