Wednesday, November 20, 2019 - Very good. Somewhat aromatic: plum, cherry, a bit of hay. On the palate: dark cherry, plum. After reading label: yup, vanilla and smoke. Alcohol mid-palate. Lingering warm finish. Lowish acidity (at least against the RS), medium-low tannin. Some residual sugar.

Overall, a bit one dimensional, so great for everyday drinking. I paired with grilled cheese.

Didn’t know I’d like a Malbec. This one had been chilling at the bottom of the rack for a couple years. Really nice bottle for this newbie.
