Thursday, November 28, 2019 - Another great bottle of Saxum, from a magnum opened seven hours before dinner and then poured over two hours. Dark fruit and chocolate on the nose, the palate was dark berries, charred meat, tobacco, cedar and hints of chocolate. The finish went on and on and on. Our group decided that this was a bottle that should be in a Steven King novel (i am a big King fan) like the short story "Cookie Jar" as I only bought one magnum of the Broken Stones from the 2010 vintage and we drank it at our Halloween dinner in 2016 and somehow it reappeared. Well it was awesome and I hope it reappears again.
