Thursday, December 26, 2019 - The PERFECT XMAS dinner wine. Lucious blackberry, hints of floral, smooth texture. Improved over decant. Drank two bottles; one cork was exceptionally dry, but the wax seal saved the vino. While this might have been a "legendary vintage" for Jarvis with Dimitri at the helm, it did not live up to the lofty expectations I had anticipated. And frankly being 100% CAB, it was not Bordeaux like in any way. Alas, quite enjoyable, but I'm not sold on Jarvis completely.
