Tuesday, December 31, 2019 - Right out of the bottle this was absolutely captivating. Paired with braised short ribs and butternut squash risotto. It was the best food-wine pairing that I’ve experienced. Drank over a few hours, but it didn’t change all that much. It gained some weight and the fruit expanded. I actually liked it better earlier in the night. Would have scored a point or two higher had it not been for a little heat on the backend. Thanks to my buddy, Don Tirsell, for turning me on to this wine several years ago.
