Thursday, January 2, 2020 - The 2017 St. Romain begins with lovely aromas of ripe forrest berries, orange peel, flowers and wet stones which all emerge from the glass. On the palate this possesses a silky texture and a ripe core of red berries that expands through the mineral laced finish. This is a forward style Pinot that is drinking fantastic now, but should also cellar nicely for a decade.
