Tuesday, December 31, 2019 - Opened and given a short around of air. Tannins fully resolved, nice cedar nose once the initial 'funk' (there must be a better word) had dissipated. Still plenty of fruit although quite dry. Had with a very mild, tomato-rich chilli and matched well no greenness, a bit of earth, plenty of life left. Enjoyed and great value at £20 for a magnum in a bog-standard French soupy.
