Friday, September 26, 2008 - Straw colored. Lime, grapefruit pith, tonic water, and a surprising amount of petrol for a young Riesling. Some of the elements are remarkably Sancerre or Muscadet like. Completely dry, light but excellent intensity and penetration, soil and bitter peach pit on the finish. Nothing blowsy or fat about this wine despite the reputation of the vintage.
