Saturday, January 4, 2020 - I let this pale ruby red Pinot decant for approx. 90 minutes prior to tasting & provided a slow set of legs along with a secondary set shortly after. To the nose this wine was a bit complex with primary notes of tart fruits including black cherry & plum along with secondary notes of soil & smoke. To the mouth this wine had medium to high tannins with little length & an ok finish of smoke/tobacco. This was a very ordinary Pinot Noir that possibly still needs time to develop but for the price this Pinot did not deliver.
