Friday, September 26, 2008 - Cork was not an easy one, broke and disintegrated. Opted not to decant which turned out to be a good idea. Nose reminiscent of an older village Burgundy, but less barnyard and more forest floor. Color beginning to fade. Great mouthfeel with ripe raspberries very prominent, nice balance and good finish. After a while in the glass, though, it started to fade rather quickly (which is why decanting might not be a good idea).
