Sunday, January 12, 2020 - The nose delivers some aged aromas of fatty Marcona almond, bees wax, tangerine, prickly pear, honeysuckle, slate and flint minerality and salted mango. Medium bodied with a taut and lusheous acid that adds breadth and depth to a brilliant structure that is still 3+ years from its prime. It delivers flavors of pineapple, pear, Granny Smith and Opel apples, unsweetened marzipan, white tea, tangerine, peach and juicy apricot. This is really good now, but I’m going to save my second bottle for it’s ten year birthday.
