Sunday, January 12, 2020 - Drank a glass from Coravin over about 1 hour. Wonderful nose of blueberries. Palate showing blackberries and black currants at first. Very primary but not overpowering. Cranberry starts to emerge in the mid palate and finish as it starts to open up. Graphite and wet rock start making its way forward at the end of the glass. Powdery tannins and a medium to long finish keep it well balanced. You can sense the alcohol at first but it starts to integrate well with air. Overall a bit lighter bodied than expected but delivers plenty of flavor. Really an elegant and refined wine.
