Wednesday, January 15, 2020 - The 2017 Williams-Selyem Weir Vineyard features a restrained and elegant nose of dark cherries, mint, cool menthol, black tea, and vanilla. Medium-bodied and juicy with succulant and pliant tannins. The oak still needs to integrate a bit more, but this is the by far the 2017 I have tasted. Get this if you love the W-S style, but find the Russian River Valley offerings too much of a fruit bomb.
