Thursday, January 16, 2020 - Nose is nice but a little briery, vegetal. Hints of dark fruits, especially blueberries, and just a touch of graphite. Changing as it opens. Palate is full but monolithic. More dark fruit, reasonably resolved tannins nice mouth feel. Probably will be much better with age but eminently drinkable just not complex enough to warrant a higher rating for my tastes.
