Sunday, January 19, 2020 - Fuligni Vertical (Ancaster, ON): I really enjoy this profile. While some found it bretty and heavy handed, I enjoyed its traditional style. It pours notably darker than the three Fuligni wines poured earlier, yet with nice lightening toward the rim and a touch of bricking. The nose blasts notes of balsamic, salami, barnyard, dark cherry, plum, and forest floor. The palate is structured with excellent medium tannin and acid. Food friendly and poised to age well for years to come. Love it.
