Thursday, January 16, 2020 - Took to one of our favorite restaurants, opened it there, they offered to decant it, and we took them up on it. Probably could have used a bit more air, but it was quite wonderful as it changed in the glass. Classic Beaucastel, it paired wonderfully with a mushroom risotto. Representative of the vintage, which I believe was a good one. Our guests poured a white 2015 Chateau Mont-Redon, so we were "high on the hog" for this dinner.
