90 Points

Sunday, January 26, 2020 - Pours youthfully ruby with just a hint of purple. Notably transparent to the core. 12.5% alcohol. Good young Northern Rhone typicity. The low intensity nose shows fresh blueberry, olive grove, black pepper, crushed granite, and the lightest touch of bacon. Certainly some reduction adding a bit of funk, which works in this example. The palate has light dusty tannin, high acid and light body, making this perfect for crushing with little contemplation. 24 hours later the secondary notes really came out emphasizing olive and pepper, improving this from 89 to 90 in my books.
