Sunday, February 2, 2020 - Merlot is not my favorite wine, but this one really pleased all my senses. I bought this bottle when I visited the winery a couple of years ago. Produced biodinamically by fantastic Bodega Chacra in Argentinian Patagonia, where Pinot Noirs 32 and 55 are really TOP. Vintage 2011 shows mature tanins that give a delicious velvet sensation in the mouth. Raspberry and cherries come out of the glass involved by an spicy and earthy sensation with black pepper and vanilla notes. The owner of Bodega Chacra is nothing more, nothing less than the grandson of the creator of Sassicaia, first great supertuscan.
